The protagonist wakes up and start getting ready for the day, like they always do. Upon opening a drawer, they find a crumpled note in their own handwriting that says: “Nothing is real, everything is fake.  Don’t let them see you reading this. I managed to write it without them noticing and hid it here, knowing that I always open this drawer in the morning. They are monitoring you. Its an experiment. You are living the same day over and over again. Your memory is being erased over night. Trust nobody. Find a way. Escape” The last words are difficult to read, like they were written in a hurry. Startled, they make their way downstairs and find their whole family waiting for them on the living-room. “Did you see anything weird this morning?” asks their mother with an unusual smile.
