Good afternoon everybody!

Today I thought I would discuss a topic that I think you will find just as interesting as I do. I am referring to an article I read about how we make our everyday decisions. Often when we are faced with a choices that we don’t really interpret it as anything more than just part of our daily routine. When were about to have breakfast, for example, we usually just lean towards whatever food we find to be most appetizing at the time and don’t really think as to why we felt like eating the bowl of cereal over the scrambled eggs in the first place. Nevertheless, I read an article today that made me rethink this rather normal task.

There are several things that we may consider when making even the simplest of decisions. However in many cases we are not fully aware of the influence that these external forces may have on our judgment. Our decision making skills rely on the following:

  1. Needs
  2. Relationships
  3. Benefits
  4. Options
  5. Encouragement
  6. Peer pressure

Furthermore, we appear to make our decisions but in reality our way of thinking can be easily altered by our surrounding environment. If you wish to learn more about this topic you can go to https://www.psychologistworld.com/cognitive/choice-theory.php  .

I hope you enjoyed this post and expect more to be coming soon!
