Who is Marielys?

Once again, hi everybody!

So… as a reader, what is the point of liking and reading a blog if you don’t actually know who the blogger is? None! That’s why today I’ll write a small autobiography of myself to let you know who I am.

You can call me Marielys D. I was born on a Monday, December 30th, 1996. I’m a woman at her young 20’s, living a full life with everything I could’ve wish for. I actually live in a beautiful, tropical island called Puerto Rico in my hometown, Carolina. Lived here all my life and planning to live for the rest of my life. I graduated from Carolina’s best high school, Saint Francis School. Since elementary, I was a really shy and responsible student, growing up with my mom and my little brother. As the years passed by, I started to have a better self esteem and very much confidence in myself. I did’t have a hobby, and since I wasn’t shy anymore, I started to take modeling classes. And since my 14 years of life, I’m in the modeling world. Makeup, photo shoots, runways, beauty pageants, making contacts… I fell in love with all of that. And because modeling is connected with the Communication industry, when I graduated from high school I chose to study at the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón in a bachelor’s degree in General Communications.

Today, I’m in my second year of collage writing a blog for the course INF103, hoping to use this blog afterwards. Besides studying, I work at a company focused on the joy of children called Party Personajes. As a team, we do birthdays and activities with animated characters, hosts, face painting, and so much more. Modeling may be my lifetime-hobby, but my real passion is my love for children. And since being with children makes me so happy, I want everyone in the world to know it. In this blog I’ll be posting and writing my every experience with all the children I’ve been with, celebrating there birthdays at my work, sharing laughs with them, falling in love with them. The best way to do this type of passion is actually doing it with someone you love. My boyfriend and I have been in a relationship for over a year now… we’ve known each other since high school, friends since college and now we practically do everything together… that includes making children happy at Party Personajes.

This will be it for now, but as the time passes by, I’m sure you’ll know a whole lot about me and the way I live my life. As I said in my first post, once again, welcome, everybody. I really hope that you like what you read and that I someday to someone can be an inspiration with all my talents and passions.
