In this TED talk from Johann Hari shows how much the misconception of addiction in families around the world and taboos are form thought in the families around the world. Depression, mental health issues and broken families helps to make illegal drugs and legal drugs a problem by self medicating or trying something new with there friends. It highlights there hasn’t been enough studies in some places of the world to help these problems and instead of making enough investments on raids and banning these drugs they should be invested in educating about the drugs to help the people learn about the effects and risks. I like this video cause the increased in addiction/deaths on legal/ illegal drugs, prescription pills and alcohol. This shows how little education kids and adults have on this topic and how families should start  being more outspoken in this kind of topic. It should not be a taboo having this problems and  society should stop thinking on how this won’t affect family because it is the problem surrounding everyone in this world.

In this video it shows artist Dustin Yellin explains his way of art by using the analogy off a box and how he can create with multiple techniques. I like how gelling can show his interpretation of humans in society by putting them in a box. Using glass layers and dangerous materials. The dimensions to make this so realistic world that explains In a way how artist manages to see the reality around them with all these bizarre news in the papers.

In this video photojournalist Kitra Cahana shows us the reality of being a nomad in the United States by taking a photograph of these people in their built in homes, trains, and sleeping in public places. These group of people live for the american dream and exploring new places that can express themselves freely although many of this people never had a chance in society at all cause of addiction, foster care kids that failed to get adopted and runaways. They reality of these people it has been shattered by the government because of new laws preventing them from sleeping  public places, and even held in jail because of this so called infractions. I like this video because I’ve been driven by the idea of having road trips around The United States and knowing that this group of people is the in affected by God by government laws that don’t make sense it’s heartbreaking and makes me as a photographer want to document this type of reality.
