So, my university held the event TEDxUSagradoCorazón and first of all I have to say I’m super excited cause it was the first academic institution on my country to have an event like this one. the conference started with an interesting video and the first presenter was Jim Groom from the Mary Washington University. His topic was: A Domain of One’s Own. It was such an inspiring talk about how students need to find the domain of one’s own, and be optimistic about every aspect of our lives. He talked about how we need our own space to fully understand the whole concept of  the web. He explains how we can create our own domain and webpage and how we can add hundreds of applications without having to add extra work, because its easy. One thing that he states is that we need to change the way we use our educational system and start to do new things so we can improve our domain.
