You may have an idea of what kind of story you like weather it’s sci-fi, fantasy, urban… and luckily there is a place in the world for each story.

Every writer should give himself the opportunity to get lost in a trip of a country (by oneself) and experience another culture in the same way a reader may experience our world. My favorite type of stories are fantasy stories witch explains why I would love to give myself an adventure from Norway to Finland.

I would start this trip in Oslo and spend 5 days in Norway to experience both the cultural and attractions.

Then, I would travel to Stockholm in 6 h and 42 minutes (341.75 miles). It would be nice to spend 5 days in Sweden exploring attractions, history and the overall culture. It’s important to make myself some friends and listen to their stories to understand life in that other culture.

Afterwards, I would have travel from Stockholm to Kapellskär in around 1 hour (58 miles) and take the Åbo – Åland ferry to Mariehamn (40 miles, 2 hours and 44 minutes). Two or three days could be enough to enjoy the Åland Islands. Experiencing the small island life compared to the lifestyle of people from the continent seems an interesting observation.

Eventually I have to take a Ferry to Turku (Finland) 230 miles – 6 hours and 18 minutes. In Finland I’d be for 5 days to meet new people. Finally I would take a train (Turku linja-autoasema laituri 1) to Helsinki Finland and stay five more days there.

In total, the trip would take around 20 days and over 589 miles. most of the time, i would rely of Über for transportation because i like talking to drivers about their experiences living and getting cultural advice.
