Evaluation

My INF-103 course was very entertaining. The professor showed us a lot of useful tips and tools that can be useful to us in the future such as certain websites that can help us create presentations and store articles we find to be interesting. Furthermore, most of our classes allowed us to use these tools hands on which proved to be very helpful since we learned more by doing these tasks ourselves. It’s because of these reasons that I believe I have become more experienced with computers and have even learned how to be more careful when surfing the web.

Part 5

The two things that mostly caught my attention where when the professor taught us about the Hour of Code because we played several mini games that were, in reality, teaching us how to write different codes. In continuation I found the group topics given to us in class to be very informative since they showed us how technology is altering the world around us in different lines of work and in the various ways we communicate with others online.

Part 6

The two most important things I learned are that the internet and web can be very beneficial since it provides us with gratuitous amounts of information at a given time. However, it can also be used in far more malicious ways and it is important to be cautious of what we do and say online as well as find ways to protect our hardware from external threats such as Trojan viruses.

Part 7

The only thing I would alter from this course is that we should be allowed to do homework and assignments with more time. I believe this would be helpful since it would allow us to do the work slower while feeling less rushed.
