Ever since I can remember, I’ve always been told that computers are an awesome tool, either for entertainment purposes or to better up your life in some way. Personally, I use mine to do homework, entertainment, and to learn about everything. When I was a kid I used to use it to only play games that my aunt installed, from Galego to Dig-Dug and also a game where you learned to master Spanish and English. As I matured over time, I learned that by using the Internet and The Web you could learn so much to improve your life.

We can say that ever since I can remember, the Internet and The Web have been a part of my life. I think that one of the first ever websites I ever got attached to was YouTube.com. I really think so because I was always fascinated by how people made videos so that everyone could enjoy their content. If I am not mistaken, that was around 2007 when I got obsessed with it. Two years later my family told me about Facebook and I that’s when I can say that I got sucked into the Internet, in a good way of course. Another good way that the Internet and The Web affected me was when I found out that you could listen to music, read comics, and even watch movies. Which to me those are the best things in the world. If there’s something negative about it, it’s not to much. Sometimes I feel that being in the Internet can take a lot of my time to focus on other things, and since I use it more in my phone, I feel a little alienated from everybody. Other than those things, I think the Internet is a very useful tool, a tool that can help us connect and learn.

Now, can I go to the past and live without the Internet? Well, this has it’s pros and cons. Personally, I consider myself an old-school kind of guy, I prefer calling someone rather that texting, I believe that a real conversation is to have it face to face. Back then texting in a cellphone was not invented yet. Other activities I like to do that don’t require Internet are: Reading a book or comic, listen to audiobooks on CD, make short films with friends, and listening or making music. As I said earlier, the Internet is a tool that can enhance those activities. So in reality, I can live without the Internet.
