In the year 2008 the film Cloverfield hit theaters in America, and its about a group of friends venture deep into the streets of New York on a rescue mission during a rampaging monster attack. That right there its a pretty good description for the movie, but what if a told you that there is more to it. This movie was produced by J. J. Abrams (famous for Star Trek and Star Wars: The Force Awakens) and it is told the he likes to put secrets and Easter eggs in his movies, so it should not come as a surprise with this one. What I mean by that is that this movie, along with it’s sequel 10 Cloverfield Lane, have a very secret storyline. I do have to say that I am fascinated with film theories, maybe this story will be divided into 3 or more blog entries.

At first this film was marketed in the internet, there was only a poster, but it had no title. People asked what was the deal with this film. The first clue was a fake website of a company called Tagruato, if you go to this website it provides some information about the company and you can also access the other 4 subsidiaries which include: YOSHIDA Medical Research, SLUSHO!, BOLD FUTURA, and ParafFUN! Wax Distributors. We learn that this is the most technologically advanced company in the world, and with the info displayed in the website we can see why. According to them, they first started by funding mines but later overtime they began doing underwater excavations. They had around 14 stations around the world, but there was a particular one located in the Atlantic Ocean: Chuai Station. This station was the one that had a little incident back in 2007. But Tagruato does not say much about it. Maybe there is something that they don’t want to tell us. News about this station being destroyed were the main news at that time. People began to ask what had happened, but Tagruato did not answer back. But what does this have to do with the trama? Let’s find out very soon when I post more information regarding Myspace accounts, conspiracy theories, and much more.
