In our class of Informatics, we discussed the subject of privacy and security, specifically on how to protect our personal information. Even though, we try to delete or hide our important information, the application will still somehow obtain that data which leaves one vulnerable without them noticing. Those issues can cause multiple problems for us, such as hackers stealing our bank information, social security number, our whole identity, and etc.

So it is always important to update our security system from time to time and be aware on what one allows access to.

As the professor has shown, I will be looking and determining what data Google has about me to decide what I want to remove and whether to allow Google to track my actions and retain history of various platforms in the future. All with the help of  myactivity.google.com/myactivity, google.com/settings/ads/, and  Disconnect.me.
