Carriers de Luminiers, a cave filled with priceless works of art. The monumental, Carriers de Luminiers host a breathtaking multimedia shows which are unique in the world. It’s a showcase where every year an artist is selected and they project their most famous paintings. I was lucky to visit the Van Gogh exhibition.

At first, I was disinterested thinking it was another ordinary museum yet I was curios since it was located in a quarry. Strolling towards the entrance, my curiosity grows. Being query asking: Why os the room pitch black? Or Why are we entering a quarry? Entering the room there’s a word which elucidates my reaction; “wow.” A big dark room where your light is Van Gogh. As if you just stumbled into his mind. All around you are walls projecting his artwork such as: Starry Night, Sunflowers, The Bedroom, Blossoming almond tree and the list goes on and on. There were acoustics in the background, were it portrayed in detail the artist’s emotion making the viewer understand.

You leave with a different perspective, Van Gogh’s perspective. It’s an unforgettable experience. They way they elaborated the paintings, it was extremely unique and creative. A lesson is to be taught today, from today’s experience don’t judge before you learn.
