Hello and welcome back to my blog. Today I’m going to be talking about a very important tool that can be useful to saving the direction of websites you might need for work or other type of things. This tool is called Diigo. What is Diigo? for those that don’t know Diigo is a social bookmarking website that lets those who have an account, the users, to be able to highlight and save webpages to eventually use later. Its use is to be able to find webpages easier instead of having too do an entire search to find the webpage you might need. This online service allows the users to share bookmarks of websites and documents; edit; make groups with the bookmark you find and more.

This video explains on how to use Diigo and its elements.

In Diigo you can do groups with the bookmarks you save. For example in the picture above you can see some of my bookmarks. In the first group of bookmarks, which is as tag facial recognition, I have a total of 7 bookmarks on the topic about facial recognition. This first group has the articles and websites im going to use for a class project about Facial Recognition. The second group is based on a personal topic, which for me its about Public Relations. For this second group I have a total of 7 bookmarks involving the topic of Public Relations. Each of the groups have their own tags; first group tag is facial recognition and the second group tag is public relations but both groups have 2 similar tags which are inf103 and sec2.
