One of my favorite analogue/ mixed media photographers is Deborah Sheedy. Her photos have a cinematographic escence to them as well as her signature eerie blured out parts of each picture. The photographs look as though woundering ghosts trough the atmosphere and Sheedy capture’s them. Her palette mainly consists of monochrome images with almost a grainy contrast to them. She also likes to experiment with different techniques wether that is using different film-revealing chemicals or if she wants to take and image and work on it n Photoshop. My favorite series of her is Series IV where she edits the images by cutingg and rippin them in different ways to make the composition even more interesting. Her manipulation of a blurred image that also looks focused at the same time. She is one of the best modern anologue photographers that I know. Be sure to check her out!
