The World is Yours 2 is the second studio album of Queens rapper Rich the Kid. The Hip-Hop/Rap and Pop album has 16 tracks and contains a lengthy number of features from Young Thug, Offset, Big Sean, Miguel, Ty Dolla Sign, Tory Lanez, NAV, Takeoff, Lil Pump, Jay Critch, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Vory, and NBA Youngboy.

When Rich first announced the album, he said boastfully that “The album is going to be the most streamed album”. Even though it did gain a large amount of streams, the songs didn’t live up to the hype and standard that the artist set. Most of the songs were pretty generic and kept the same flow throughout the whole song. Al so, the content of the songs got pretty tiring. He constantly brought up his wealthy lifestyle and kept flexing about his riches. The thing that saved this album was the production and the features. In the songs with the most listens, like “Two Cups”, Offset delivers a nice catchy hook and Big Sean overshadows Rich the Kid by delivering an amazing verse. What I’m trying to say is that the majority of times that Rich the Kid has a feature in one of his songs, they usually do better than him. This speaks to Rich as an artist and to how he has to depend on other artist to get a song in the charts instead of just carrying a song just by himself. He needs features to at least a commercially great song.

My favorite songs from the album are: “Two Cups”, “Tic Toc”, “Splashin” and “Like Mike”. The songs were okay, but not enough to consider this as an above average album. Rich lacked in many factors that would of definitely made the album a better one. Still, he’s just 26 years old and has a lot of room for improvement. Hopefully, we see that he has that ambition and strives to be a better rapper.
