? Life-changing exercise ahead ? During my most recent session with my therapist I was telling her about the expectations I had for my upcoming book. She asked me to do an exercise that COMPLETELY changed my perspective and gave me inner peace. _ She said: “Michelle, I want you to write a short letter to your future self about ‘what’s the BEST that can happen’ if the WORST happens!” (Meaning, if my expectations are not met = my book fails) I was like NO WAY, at first. Why attract the worst with that letter? (I’m all about attracting only positive things with my mind). But she insisted! _ I’m not going to publish that letter, yet. All I can tell you is that tears of joy were sliding down my face as I was writing it. I realized that I already gained SO MUCH. Even if my book fails, I’ve already won. What a powerful exercise. To find the best in the worst. We should all practice this more often. Try it and let me know how you feel ??? .
