This past weekend PSB Productions‘ Fiddler on the Roof officially opened at the Centro de Bellas Artes Luis A. Ferré in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The show will be performing three more shows from the 19th to the 21st of April. You can’t miss it!

Fiddler on the Roof tells the story of a Jewish family led by Tevye, the father, that lives in Anatevka, a jewish village in Russia. Throughout the plot it is seen how outside forces and ideals have come to break the tradition, whilst also dealing with the antisemitism policies that came from the government (the Czar). The musical is a comedy but it also comes with a lot of dramatic weight and ends up sending a really powerful message.

I am blessed to say that I am part of the ensemble of this beautiful production and feel very proud and honored to be in it. The cast is filled with lots of triple threats (actors, singers and dancers), so it has been incredible being able to work with and learn from such talented people. It has been an amazing experience seeing how everything came out from scratch; our hard work has really paid of.

Some pictures from last week’s performances.

If you have not seen Fiddler on the Roof you still have time. Tickets are on sale at Ticket Center or at the Centro de Bellas Artes Luis A. Ferré’s ticket booth or online page. Don’t miss it, it’ll truly change your life!
