Over the past month, in the Art Gallery of the University of the Sacred Heart, there has been an exhibition based on the the realness and raw view of the people who are around us. This work was done by a Puerto rican photographer based on New York called Maximo Rafael Colon. He was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, later on he moved to New York to study Visual Arts in NYU.

The work presented in the gallery show us moments captured spontaneously but with a purpose, displaying emotions and peoples true selves in the moment. All the photography was taken in black and white to make us focus on whats really happening in the shot. Topics that are often happening in society and daily human struggles are some of the main focuses the author bases his documentations upon. Included in this exhibition there are also three sculptures, made from whatever he has found, showcasing his nostalgia and beliefs.
