On February 16, 2017 the University of Sagrado Corazon revealed their latest exhibition called “Encuentro”. If you were to visit the Art Gallery, you would see numerous works of art created by Maximo Rafael Colon.

He was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico in 1950 but learned about photography by studying in New York University. His works of art have been exhibited both in Puerto Rico, New York, and Washington D.C. Some of his work can even be seen in the Smithsonian Institute, CUNY Hunter College, and even in the Museum of Art in the Bronx. Recently, he has been working on a project called My Upside Down World: Deconstructing Photography in which he is spending the next five years photographing different locations such as Toronto, Paris, and La Habana.
