We all do it. We all hide it. The pain, sorrow and tears of our daily personal life. It’s so much easier to fake a smile and plaster this positive facade than try to explain your anxiety and sadness to another person. Who wants to see a sad snap or a Facebook status of us pouring our broken hearts out for the world to read? That’s right! No one… Or at least that’s what we tell ourselves to justify our behavior. The little white lies we tell ourselves to make the mask seem normal.

That’s a huge reason why I haven’t posted as often as I would have liked to… Because I can’t stand being fake and passionless! University work load… Personal life crap… Writer’s block… General life crap… Finding the time, inspiration, will and energy can be virtually impossible at times. It feels like there aren’t enough hours in the day….

So this is me. A stressed out college chick who at times feels like she bit off more than she could chew… ????

But just because life is hard, doesn’t mean its bad. It doesn’t mean that we should just wear a mask and not be who we really are! And that’s what #RemovingMyDigitalMask is all about.

For the competition of Internet Day P.R., me and my group submitted a video as a project for our informatics class. And to our surprise… WE WON SECOND PLACE???? ????  in the university category. Gosh, I still get emotional thinking about it. :’) I’m just a chick who fell in love with video making and editing a few years ago and now I’m a second place winning videographer. I never imaged we’d win. It’s literally a dream come true, as cheesy as that sounds.

So a HUGE thank you to the people in my group:

For making all this possible. These guys are serious amazing, creative, and talented. They should be really proud of the work they put in. ???????? ???????? ???????? ????????  ¡Gracias grupo!

The hilariously ironic and epic thing about all this is that 1st and 3rd place were won by group from our same informatics section! Congrats guys! ???? ???????? ???? ???????? ???????? ???????? Y’all did amazingly!

3rd place winning video. TODOS ESTAMOS CONECTADOS [Video taken from Internet Society of Puerto Rico’s YouTube channel. I do not own it.]

So I am PJ Cage. I love pro wrestling, comics and superheros, makeup, art, television, videography, and writing. Sometimes I get in a rut and cannot come up with a good idea to save my life but I believe that my work is all about quality, not quantity. So #ThisIsMe. A weird mix of AJ Lee, Harley Quinn and Raven from Teen Titans whose hard work is starting to pay off and whose dreams are slowly coming true. So keep pushing forward and hang in there. If my dreams can come true, so can yours.

Stay Weird and Creative ????  ????
