About me!

I live and study photography in the university of the Sacred heart (http://www.sagrado.edu). The Caribbean island of Puerto Rico is small but has of talented people. As a woman, I believe that there should be equality between a woman and a man and that we are all beautiful and strong no matter the country, religion, culture, or color of skin. For more than one hundred years we have been treated unfairly by men and even some women saying that the only place we belong is in the kitchen, that we don’t need education, that we can’t vote, that we need to wait till marriage, and also by putting women against each other. But thanks to the feminist movement also known as the women’s liberation movement we have accomplished so much by informing people about the many situations that women have to deal with. This blog will inform and educate the readers or viewers about women from all over the globe who use their voices to raise awareness and leave positive messages for younger girls in this generation. Showing that just because you are a woman doesn’t mean that you are weak. Being a woman means that you are powerful, strong, beautiful, intelligent and can achieve anything!
