This blog is a place where, my life experiences, the love I have for photography, and the history behind every person, thing or place I photograph, come together.

I will publish some of my videos, photos and class projects.

I’m currently studying Film Production at Universidad del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús. In one of my classes I was asked to make a blog, this is the result. I’m hoping to become more expressive, creative, and also learn to communicate in a better way. And now that you know the background  of, why I made this blog, and  what is about, I will talk a little about myself.

Since I was kid, I’ve always loved the arts. I took painting lessons, started learning how to play the guitar, and danced in an academy. The adrenaline of being on stage dancing was like nothing I had experience before, it felt like the most amazing feeling. Until I discovered photography and cinematography. It all began in ninth grade, when my english teacher assigned my class to make a short film. In the project I took the role as director and editor. Ever since I’ve been wanting to study Film Production and work in the movie industry. Later on, I got a camera for christmas, a Nikon D3100, and that is what I currently use for my projects.

I hope that with the help of this blog you appreciate and see life as a gift the way I do, and never take history for granted.

I will leave you guys with one of my favorite quotes by the german philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche: “And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.” Remember it’s ok to be different, when you’re being yourself.

All the love, A.
