Hey guys!

So today I bring you a technology review on the Microsoft HoloLens, which actually reminded me a lot of the Oculus Rift I see Pewdiepie wearing on some of his videos, except it looks less stupid. I don’t mean to be offensive but the Oculus looks like you are wearing a box on your eyes , which makes me laugh when some people wear it though I wouldn’t mind trying it out because of the augmented reality feature it works with. Which is why were talking about the Microsoft HoloLens, that look more like giant goggles taken from a motorcycle driver’s helmet or something a futuristic cop would wear. My imagination is weird deal with it.

Bad news is the people who wrote the original article on this went to the BUILD 2015 developers conference and were not allowed to take picture or record the demonstration they were making. They were only able to take pictures of the HoloLens in the glass display, which is disappointing because I wanted to see it in action. Thankfully YouTube exists and there is an unveiling video below. The people from the article managed to try it hands-on in private, so they still got lucky and at least we get a more personal point of view of the HoloLens without all the sugarcoating promoters try to sell to you at first.

So it was easy to put on, though they needed help readjusting the back straps a bit, also trying to adjust the front plate in oder to see all the edges of an object or else the experience wouldn’t be so pleasant and this took a while to adjust. They found it to be heavier than expected but lighter than the Oculus Rift. The image was very well-viewed, though occasionally required readjustment as well to see the whole image. But other than that , the experience of using it makes you forget about the external details.

Also they managed to use a 3D printer along with a PC to bring things into the real world by using a 3D  building set using a model of a building zone both on the PC then on the virtual space. They were also given small blueprints to practice on. There were some complications, but they managed to look past them and very more than impressed with the HoloLens. Kinda wanna try it out now if it helps my life be easier in a way.

Well hope you enjoyed this article and I’ll see you soon!
