Hello everyone, today we will be talking about yet another Poison Apple Book from Schoolastic. Then again I like to clarify that the books of this series are mainly for children and young teens. And the thematic is what gives them the spark and freaky pieze that I enjoy so much. All of the stories are very short so they barely take you time to read it. You can easily finish one of the books in just a couple of hours and you have enough time to start another one. It just depends of how interested you are in it.

Mean Ghouls

Today’s book isn’t by Mimi McCoy but by Stacia Deutsch. She is a great children’s and tweens author. She has written over fifty books. And she likes to write mystery and she writes stories she would like to read, following the best advise she was given.

The story I will be talking about today is about a girl named Megan, who has cached a weird virus and is slowly turning into a zombie. Yes! A zombie!. I know this may seem already boring or cliche for some of you, but this story is more than the zombie stories we are used to reading and hearing. Here we see Megan having to survive  middle school, we’ve heard middle school was hard, imagine if you had turned into a zombie and moved into an Academy with nasty food and popular zombies who already hate you.

Sounds good? This story is called Mean Ghouls. Halfway throughout the story everything gets turned and you won’t see anything coming.
