On december 31, 2012 Newsweek Magazine released their last printed issue, with their building on the cover and a hashtag (a famous symbol used daily by most of us) that says last print issue they stop releasing the magazine on the streets. We’ve come to the point where we don’t read (books, magazines, newspapers) anymore, we just use the internet to catch up on what’s happening worldwide. News and magazine corporations have come to the conclusion that they need to reinvent there perspective and they need to find new ways to catch the readers attention. With technology growing faster each day, this big companies are finding hard to keep the paper production, expensive and time consuming, when most of the readers just visit the website and read the articles from there. I think that like all of the things of our society, this industry has to find ways to reinvent themselves to survive the new technologies that rise each day.
