Spirited Away <—link to trailer

Spirited Away is one of my all-time favorite movies. Hayao Miyazaki has truly made a masterpiece. This movie has an innocence and pureness to it that is hard to find in other animated films. The voices are wonderful, the story is original and delightful, and the lessons of the story are basic, but powerful and useful for your everyday life (which is basically how every Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghilbi film is). One of the things that captivates me the most about this movie its the artwork that went into making this movie, the visuals may not be modern but they’re stunning and timeless. If those aren’t enough reasons then here’s another one, it won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature at the 75th Academy Awards and is among the top ten in the BFI list of the 50 films you should see by the age of 14.

P.S. All of my reviews are going to be vague because i don’t want to give away any spoilers to people who haven’t seen it. Besides the trailer should just about sum up everything.
