  1. Ditch Gender Norms– Stop considering what is acceptable and appropriate based on their gender. There shouldn’t be specific roles that are automatically placed on you because of your sex. Start by creating an environment in your life, that you let people be whoever they want.
  2. Eliminate Online Harassment- Block those Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter trolls. If you see any type of bullying or harassment online make sure to report those users.
  3. Be Politically Active- Now is not the time to be neutral. Vote and promote progressive gender laws. We do NOT want another 2016 election to happen again.
  4. Donate to Organizations- Make sure to donate to your local feminist civil society organizations. You can help make a change by just chipping in $5. Ex: Feminist Majority, National Organization for Women, and more.
  5. Awareness- Talk about these ongoing issues such as unequal pay, maternal leaves, sexual harassment, reproductive rights. Communication is KEY. The more we talk about it, the faster we’ll get things done.
